This represents a total return of approximately 9-10% per year and a total income over 25 years of  £22,500 - £25,000 (This income is tax free if you are a domestic customer & even better if you pay a higher rate of tax).

This return will rise further in value if you compare it to having money sitting in a bank account as it is index linked, so will rise with inflation.

The carbon saving on this investment would be approximately 28 tonnes over 25 years.
